Insert another D-ring into '1' D-ring after a lap on a tree. 3. Pull on the strap and tighten it firmly. 4. Roll strap around trunk in opposite direction until desired length is reached. 5. Slide D-ring under one layer of strap and insert into '1' D-ring. 6. Attach Carabiner or S-hook to D-ring and hammock to the Carabiner or S-hook. 7. Repeat procedure on opposite side. 8.
