Compost bags have become mandatory, so I started buying bags. I landed in these just a few days ago, they cost a little more, but the value of what I get makes them a much better overall deal and value. Why? It can fit in my 1.3 gallon bin perfectly and also has handles so when it bin is full is much easier to pull out and tie up. Also, if there is a Tupperware full of leftover spaghetti on trash day, I can just grab a bag, fill it, tie it, carry it out by the handle and drop it in my compost bin. Large deposits can go straight out of the house much easier in this bag than any other bag. Which means we are more likely to use them, and less likely to get fined for dining food in our trash cans. The bags are nice and thick, very durable and so far I haven’t ripped one of them yet even with a few pounds of spaghetti. I like the green bags matching my green bin. I am also told the bright green bags make them easier to be seen when these bags are getting sorted at the land fill and going into compost These are the best bags I’ve tried, no doubt, I tried many others and they didn’t work as well as these. Saving a few cents per bag isn’t worth it.
