Review: Not sure about the dual voltage part - This is a high quality curling iron, smooth surface and long barrel. It says that it is 110-220V, but in Dubai the range is 220-240V. According to ChatGPT, some irons can tolerate slight overvoltage like 230V, but this depends on the design and it may be damaging components internally or lead to fire. There is no information I can find online that supports IKV tolerates 230V or higher, so I am being cautious and using it on a step down transformer, where it works great (except that I have no mirror there :)). The power cord that comes with the iron is a North America plug.

A: It’s not too tight.  I curl smaller sections of really long hair and there’s no pulling or snagging on the clamp or screws.
