Fantastic key safe - strong material - easy to charge
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this as a replacement for my key lock and I'm so glad I did. The old one was plastic and this is solid metal, its build quality is fantastic with better features than the original.Firstly it can be unlocked via a keypad or via fingerprint, you're limited to five digits to choose from but you can have a combination upto 10 numbers in total. It is simple to change and you can then add fingerprints. The fingerprint sensor is excellent, recognises immediately and when opened there is a light inside to see what you're doing. The lock has a keypad cover which slides to hide the pannel and it also comes with a plastic housing for using outside.I'm using this inside my home in a hidden spot but it has a solar panel on the top which will keep the battery charged. As I'm using inside, I'm using the USB C cable to charge. It clips in the bottom and takes four hours for a full charge and the indicator will change from red to green when fully charged.I managed to fix in five mins and just needed to add two new screw holes to accommodate it.It also comes with a bar so can be attached to fence posts or gates. You get everything you need in the box too.Honestly it's one of the best key locks I've had and I'm chuffed with the quality and strength.

Good for a variety of uses
The media could not be loaded. £29.99 ( at the time of writing this review ), at the time I was offered this for review ( 19th Oct ) it was listed at £89.99.Have now been using it for a few weeks and have tested it out on the balcony where it experienced snow, rain and cold weather. It does come with a plastic case which seemed to keep everything at bay. At least, I did not have any problems. It arrived partially charged so did not need the full 4 hours it recommended, and it has not needed to be recharged. I've kept it out of direct sun light just to see how long charge will last with a little help from the solar panel. I'll update this when I have a better idea of how long it lasts. It also comes with the fixings you need to attach it to a wall / door. Probably not a bad idea as poking something through one of the mounting holes can allow you to pop the catch and release the lock.Overall, for £29.99 this is not a bad lock expecially if you need to give access to different people.

Capable key safe
The key safe arrives in a very smart modern design cardboard box that contains the key safe, charging lead, instructions, and fittings. A nice touch is that there is also a template you can use to work out where to drill holes when you mount the key safe. The instructions are reasonably clear (only English instructions are provided). The first thing that you need to do is charge the device using the supplied USB-A to USB-C lead. Whilst the instructions are clear on where to plug it in, there is a small 'plug' in the hole where you insert the lead. This makes sense in terms of weather proofing the box, but there are no instructions on how to get the plug out. I ended up using a pin which was not ideal. The plug is very small so easy to lose it during charging. A better design would have been for the plug to have been attached to the case or hinged in some way so it can’t get separated. . The guide said charging would take about 4 hours, but I think it took a bit less for me. Following the instructions, it was straightforward to open the key safe with the default password, set a new password and set the fingerprint. The number keys beep when you press them which might be annoying, but there is a way of switching this off. This is a very solid key safe, and easy to use. According to the instructions it should be charged every three months. Without removing it, it will be a little fiddly to charge because you may need to get a long lead to it, and leave it plugged in for up to four hours. Solar charging sounds useful when the charge has run down, but difficult to tell at this point how well that will work.

Poor battery life
When it works its great but i am concerned that it only has 5 digits to choose a keylock. I set this up and fitted it south facing and it looks like the battery drained. It then forgets any fingerprints. The instructions are poor so your best bet is tonlook up a you tube video. I had to do this to work out how to add a fingerprint.Update: battery life is useless. Everytime I go to open it I find the battery drained and have to charge it from a powerbank. The solar is not keeping it topped up. Maybe it is faulty, it cant have this little battery life.

Great Design Super Strong Materials
The media could not be loaded. This is made very well out of robust materials mainly steel, Very sturdy and solid. After following the very easy to read instructions I changed the passcode to a new one and works very well. It has a small solar window to keep the battery topped up with power and if need be you can boost that power via the USB C power on the base.

A good key safe but no instructions were provided
The media could not be loaded. This key safe looked ideal for putting on the side of the house so that family/friends could gain access when we aren’t in to see to our dogs and plants. It comes with a detachable handle meaning you could hand it from somewhere but we opted to use the provided wall plugs to screw it into the brick wall. Whilst it does have solar power we fully charged it using the provided USB charging cable to ensure it lasts for as long as possible. Unfortunately ours didn’t come with any instructions (despite the pictures saying it would) however after a little googling we found that the code to get into it was ‘12341’ and then we could work out the rest ourselves. To set a fingerprint up you press the ‘set’ button on the inside and then hold the finger on the sensor multiple times until the OK light turns green.Something I really like is that there is a light on the inside of the key safe which is brilliant when opening it in the dark. One thing I didn’t like is that it comes with a water proof pouch.. I was hoping that the product itself would be waterproof but it seems you’re supposed to keep it in the pouch to protect it from the elements.Overall though it’s a really good product that feels heavy duty and has lots of nice features, without a doubt one of the best key safes I have used.
