I was introduced to Crystal body deodorant from a cousin that was in the beauty insdustry. That was over 16 years ago. At the time, I purchased a 4.25 ounce crystal body stick deodorant at Walmart. Since I only used it for underarms, once a day after shower, and wet it with a couple drops of water, it had lasted all these years. I still have and using it. However, the bottle that contains and hold the crystal is slowing breaking apart. I will remove the left over crystal and use it for traveling. I'm glad to find a great bargain here. 4 bottles will last me for a long long time. I probably end up sharing them with family. Asians have been using this crystal for centuries. It works very well, that is, like everything else, if you're not allergic to it. For me, even when I sweat, I realeased no odor when using the crystal. Recently, my sister was convinced that it worked well and have been using it too. Another friend, an auto mechanic, had terrible foot odor. Due to embarassment, he never took his socks off, even in the hot summer weather. I gave him a small-size crystal to use on his feet. He was really hesitant at the beginning. But knowing that it was just a natural rock, he gave it a try. He no longer have foot odor. Just love this stuff. I highly recommend it!

A: They need to air dry in between use because of what they are made of. I have no idea why, but they always last a long time. I have always used them & they are really good.

**Q: Whats the shelf life of this stick, does it "melt" or evaporate if stored?**
A: If it is kept dry, the shelf life is probably centuries as this is an inorganic white crystalline salt - Ammonium Alum - Ammonium aluminium sulfate - (NH4)Al(SO4)2·12H2O -- see wikipedia or other references. At normal temperatures it does not melt or evaporate. BTW, used properly a single stick can last 1-2 years of daily use -- very economical. The biggest hazard is dropping it on a hard surface which can break it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works good for sensitive skin

Have been using this probably about 18 years maybe longer. I used to use regular deodorants before that but it got to the point they kept causing skin irritation in my armpits so when I found this it was great. This gives me no irritation. I have tried using several other deodorants since then in the past years including Tom's and a couple other 'all natural' type deodorants but they all cause skin irritation or even rashes. This still works fine for me. Surprised more people don't use this. For me they last 6 months or longer. When they start whittling down to being smaller I go ahead and just get a new one because once they get down about less than 50% original size they do develop small cracks or holes in the crystal itself which causes it to be rough so it's time then to get a new one. Yes I recommend you try this. Just don't expect it to smell like anything there is no smell so you have to start out with a freshly washed body. This will not cover up the odor of BO if that's what you're looking for it just won't do it. It works very good at preventing the growth of bacteria in your arm pits which is what causes the stink. If you bathe daily and then apply this immediately after bathing then it will work for you too.
