I like the look of this rug very much, and needed something thin. We have an older, sick dog, and the shag runner that I had in our hallway was often getting hit and was very hard to clean vomit and messes out of, due to it's thickness. Finally gave up and wanted something to dampen the sound of his nails on the hardwood, but that could be easily cleaned when he got sick or had accidents. This fit the bill very well - long and wide enough for our hallway but nice and thin, easy to vacuum without getting the brush roll stuck, and easy to clean. Just had to clean a mess on it the other night and was shocked that it didn't go through the non-skid backing and make that wet! Despite the rubberized, non-skid backing, it can get shifted a bit over time, so I have to re-center it occasionally, but stays in place much better than our previous rug with the backing that's more like carpet. We're very happy with it and recently my parents visited, and my mom and my adult daughter both commented on it being a nice-looking rug.

I’m very happy with the decision to purchase this rug. I recently moved into a fixer-upper and wanted to try an easy, inexpensive and temporary solution to my home’s entry. The rug is a couple of inches narrower than the concrete entry but my entry looks so much better now. No problem with the rug laying flat, being stable or its quality. I added before and work-in-progress pics to give an idea of the appearance and quality of the rug. It’s only been a week or so since I laid out the rug, so I can’t speak for it durability or ease of cleaning. But I’m quite happy with my new rug - great quality, great appearance, low pile so it’s a no-trip hazard.

Perfect fit!

It's an inexpensive, machine washable rug with a non-slip backing. So, one shouldn't expect it to look like a fine hand-hooked rug. It doesn't. However, the style is attractive enough for me to put down in the kitchen/mud room area where my 14 year old dog tends to have accidents. She needs traction so she doesn't slip on the floors, and I need a rug I can wash when her bladder doesn't make it through the night. It also shows the wet spot when that happens, which is very helpful since I've had rugs that "hide" it. We have wood floors so letting a wet rug sit for hours because we didn't initially notice the accident is a problem.4 stars because the weave is not attractive like a finer rug, but it does suit our purposes. Also, it is NOT waterproof. My dog did have an accident and the wetness went through to the floor. I won't ding the rug a star for that since it doesn't claim to be waterproof, but just good information to know. I will update if it does not hold up to being washed.

This rug was shipped in heavy-duty plastic that was damaged in transit. Some kind of dried glue-like substance, probably from the warehouse or delivery truck, was stuck to the exposed rug. It left a small brown stain that came out with a bit of scrubbing. I was encouraged to see how easily this rug cleaned up. It's also machine washable, but be sure to follow the cleaning instructions carefully. Best if you hang it up to air-dry instead of tumble drying, which causes the rubber backing to break down faster. The color and pattern match our bathroom perfectly and give it a modern touch. Only downside is that it's not very soft on bare feet. I might get a separate pad to put under it for cushioning.

A portion of our office carpeting in a hallway became somewhat soiled, and we would have had to replace the carpeting throughout the hallway because it was not really cleanable. Instead, we put this on top, and it not only looks nice and adds a little pizzazz to the hallway, but I'm amazed at the fact that I got a used piece of carpet runner like this and it looks like it's brand new. Perfect.

The only reason I gave it three stars is because it is a nice pattern and my son likes it (it's in his little gaming area). It does have the rubber backing which is nice. It is soft feeling to step on it with your bare feet. However, it is EXTREMELY THIN. There is literally no cushion whatsoever between the hardwood floor and my feet if I step on it. It is the same quality rug that I would expect to get for $15-20 from Target. This rug is vastly overpriced.
