It has 10 unless your placing more than one card in two of the slots. Very soft material the case part that holds your phone does it very well. The magnet that holds your phone to the wallet itself starts off strongly, but after a few days I was able to pull it off quite easily. Thank goodness for the snap on the outside of the area! I have no worries my phone is protected in case it is dropped. The phone part of the wallet snaps closed and if your phone is not in there it's awkward/time consuming to close. It's not terrible to close when your phone is in though. It would've been good to put a magnet there instead or even a longer flap that folded around to snap in the front. I'm gonna give it a chance, see how long it takes until I'm fed up...maybe it'll grow on me.
