Personally use it for 24/7 coverage of our front drive and as long as your not expecting to read number plates at 50m the picture quality is excellent! Cloud monitoring is available and works well but you don't have to use it (I don't) if you buy your own micro sd cards. Just make sure you get 'security monitoring' grade cards. Also for those worried about wifi signals getting blocked it has an ethernet port which works perfectly! :)

**Q: Is this camera wireless as the Amazon description says it is. YouTube reviews seem show it's not**
A: You will need to connect it to power supply using wire. But WiFi is wireless. You will not need LAN cable to connect it to internet if you don't want to.

**Q: Is the camera compatible with google home? 🤔**
A: All EZVIZ smart cameras work with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT. Just voice-enable the live viewing with “Hey Google” or “Alexa” to check what’s happening on a bigger screen.

**Q: Using 4G to camera will not connect remotely. My vincture ip camera does perfectly. Why dies it hang on the buffer at 80 % using my dmart phone**
A: I plugged mine into the router box set it up and just use it vier the net ,,, I downloaded the app on a iPhone 14 works no problem but the miss could not on her honor phone

**Q: Does it have to be screwed in to the ceiling?**
A: The unit comes with a bracket and screws should you wish to screw it in bit that is not necessary. We have two units free standing in a couple of locations as needed. We put double sided adhesive tape on the base to secure it to the flat surface and that has worked well. I hope that helps.

This item is value for money considering what you pay, the only let down is when you select the microphone there’s an echo which is unbearable. Picture quality is not bad, the motion detection works well.
