I first drilled a hole in the wall light surround for the pull cord to hang down. I then threaded the pull cord through the surround before lining it up so that it worked smoothly when you pulled it. Next I super glued the pull cord attachment to the inside of the wall light surround. Before glueing it to the surround I attached the live wire from the wall light to the cord attachment that comes with 2 tiny holes built into it. I then got myself another piece of live wire (Roughly 4inch in length) and attached one end to the other hole built into the cord attachment. Now I was ready to glue the cord attachment to inside of the wall light surround before attaching the other end of my 4inch live wire to the live wire coming out from the wall. Job Done!! I wanted to explain how I did it because it came with no instructions and I looked everywhere on line for some but could not find any. I hope that this helps someone else who has got the same problem as I had. Great product though ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy replacement switch for bathroom mirror *by R***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 August 2013* The switch broke in our HiB illuminated bathroom mirror, (it was provoked but that's another story). This switch turned out to be an identical replacement so I didn't have to make any modifications to get it to fit. It has a single screw mounting, with two screw terminals for the wires.I've given it 4 stars, as although it is very good value for money, I would have preferred to pay a little more for a somewhat more robust switch, hence I'm not giving it the full 5. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good replacement part *by N***3 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2015* This was purchased to replace the broken switch in the bathroom "shell" light. I'm happy to say that it fitted perfectly so no faffing or other adjustments needed to install it. It would be a 5 star product if the pull cord was much longer, but this is only a very minor point and does not detract from the fact that the switch is a very good product.
