## Description

Manufacturer's Description In a world ravaged by endless conflict and natural disaster, a call for peace turns into a bloodbath of betrayal and deceit in Lair for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system. Playing as a warrior named Rohn who rides a voracious dragon trained for deadly aerial and ground combat, gamers must defeat the war-hungry Mokai to save the Asylian civilization. Together, Rohn and his dragon will attempt to change the destiny of a world on the brink of extinction by scorching, clawing and smashing through thousands of enemies and their war-trained beasts.

Review: Oh dear me no... - I play a lot of games. A LOT. This has got to be among the worst games I`ve ever played. The reason for this? The controls, pure and simple. Yes, the general flight controls can be switched between motion sensing and traditional, but the air combat controls cannot. There are moments when you have to do sideways slams into other dragons with motion control, and this simply doesn`t work well enough (if at all). I thought, surely at this price it`s worth a shot. The answer is NO!!!! Although if you have someone in your life that you really don`t like, this would be an ideal gift.
Review: Excellent game without a doubt - Firstly, let me get one thing clear, the game is extremely better than what some reviewers have given it. I mean the same could be said with the wii, first time I played it I thought it was crap, especialy when you've played with a controller. Anyway, after a few good hours, I will admit it is an excellent game. The graphics are great, the game itself is challenging and has a good shelf life. I will admit you need to give it sometime, timing is the key and the gesture system is great. I like the other games that allow to use the siaxis for only certain elements of a game, but this is all sixaxis, apart from when you are battling on ground. Another thing I must point out is that you don't need to go mental on the sixaxis, as it is very responsive, just gentle movements of the sixaxis will make your dragon move, think of it in terms of a dragon, strong, powerful but yet gentle and swift. I let my wife play and she just went mental with the sixaxis and she got nowhere in the game. People may not like it as you need to forget to learn to use the analogue sticks, which like me can be daunting at first, but after 2-3 hrs I was mastering the skies and the manouvers. It is a great game with beautiful visuals. As I say, don't knock it till you've played it for a good few hrs continously. I still don't understand what the reviewers were reviewing as it's utter rubbish what they have claimed. To be honest most of the reviewers now-a-days only play 2/3rds of it and rush it, so they end up slating it. Rather than spend quality time with a game and truly master it. Do yourself a favour and order it, trust me you will be suprisingly amazed, this is what the ps3 sixaxis was made for! Kudos to the developers to try something different and truly succeed, sad fact is they got lynched by incompetent reviewers, who can't find there **** from there elbow.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice idea on paper... not so good with the controller on your hands
*by P***Y on 17 September 2013*

Its OK for a few missions, then it gets a little bit boring - confusing. I tried to keep using the sintaxis, maybe with standard controls is not so confusing and frustrating and more playable. The idea is good, riding dragons, attacking land forces, fighting other dragons... but the end product is not too brilliant I bought it cheap to give it a try, so I'm not too disappointed, but not too happy either. Maybe I'll revisit it when I have nothing else to play (but quite unlikely)
