Bought these as an everyday set to grab and go. Having a set of global wanted a decent but affordable block set for when I need a knife handy.They came well packed and looked good on opening, as others have said the block seems generic and the knives don't fit perfectly, but it's a minor gripe.The blades are super sharp and have a good hardness, resonating a nice ping. Some cheaper knives mainly made of stainless steel are usually soft and loose their edge quickly, have high hopes for these.They are light, which some won't like but feel balanced in the hand and the heel to handlee distance is good, plus the grip is a good size and feel.Used these for a few hours since purchase and for the money you can't fault them. The full set for the price of a single global !Those wanting a good set of usuable knives look no further

Two knives showed rust after the first wash. This is unacceptable for knives that are supposed to be dishwasher proof. Defintely not worth it.

These knives are very impressive to look at with Japanese symbols on the blades. I love the look of them the block they fit in and the way they were packed for delivery this showed the seller cares very much for the product. Very happy with them.

knifes are good and block is heavy and beautiful, just i was a bit diappointed that the holes in the block don't match precisely with the size of the knifes so they stand a bit 'loose' in the block .but that is an aesthetical failure only..

I bought these as we'd just moved house and they were a great choice until we buy a proper set of knives. Sturdy, light weight, very sharp, and aesthetically pleasing. I'd have no problem recommending these to someone who wants an affordable set of knives. There looks to be a hole for the sharpener in the block, but you have to buy your own sharpener to use. (Not a drawback, just an observation.)

Well worth the price. This set of knives is really phenomenal for the price you're paying. Used them for about two weeks now and must say each of these slices through food with incredible ease. I was expecting a mediocre set I which would satisfy my needs in a flat for about a year or so but I have a feeling I'll be taking these with me whenever I move!

Brilliant my Mam loves them, the block is nice bit of kit too, knives are very light although appear heavy to look at but when in hand it's like wow, price was excellent, seller gave me all information I needed swift delivery well packed what more you want? Buy them!!!
