The professor I had for mineral exploration recommended this book, and although a bit pricey, it TOTALLY worth it. This book walks the reader through, well, what the title of the book implies: mineral exploration and mining essentials. The writing style flows nice, and is easy to read. I feel like most geology books are hard to read because of the writing style: some authors expect the reader to have prior knowledge on certain subjects and glosses over them like there is no big deal!
