But White setting has bluish tint. *by B***Z on March 26, 2018* Had a hard time getting it to work but eventually found the issue.When you try to setup to wifi there are 2 apps on the Android play store. One of the apps is regular and the other app is a pro version. I could not get things working with the regular version. It would not even pick up the strip. So I tried the pro version and it worked right away. The pro version is free so didn't have to pay anything for the app. If they had recommended the pro version off the bat it would have saved time.Got it connected to WiFi and Alexa was able to see the light strip and worked great. Now for the biggest issue I have with this strip.The White setting has a bluish tint to it. This is very annoying since I'm using it for a display case that houses my figures. I would have returned this but I didn't want to go through the hassle of removing the light strip. So please try out your strip before you apply it.*Update*Seller has reached out to me and has really gone out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. I really appreciate that kind of customer service. He sent me an extra strip to test out and replace my current one. He upgraded it to a water proof version in white which is better than what I had before. The light is still bluish when selecting white but I'm very satisfied with the lights otherwise. I bought these lights to go under my bedframe. I have another brand that is behind the TV.The picture is during the day and shows how well the lights display even with a room full of light.The video was at night, so you can see how it can light up an entire room (you can also make it much dimmer than what I have showing in the photo and video).These lights are great, and if I decide to get more for any other areas in the house, this is the brand I will stick with.The adhesive seems to work well, and the app is incredibly easy to use. The music feature doesn't work well/at all with Spotify, but I didn't care too much about that.One feature that I LOVE is the timer/schedule. I have them turn on at about 5 PM, so as it starts to get darker, they turn on automatically, even while I'm away at work. This makes it really easy to impress roommates who want to show others when I'm not home, and it eliminates the hassle of turning them on every night.There is a remote, but I don't think I've used it since the app is so much more convenient and can be controlled away from home.I recommend this product, and highly encourage anybody to try them if you're considering it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's not too shabby for the price! Performs well! *by J***N on June 26, 2019* The media could not be loaded. Bought this a couple months ago and tbh it's held up pretty well so far! Was hesitant buying a non branded led light strip and also considering how much cheaper it was than the more well known ones but I'm glad I did. My only biggest complaint and it's not a huge one but it lacks a lot of implementations the other led light strips have with their app controlles software. Like for example the synchronization with music and sound kinda performs subpar and the app itself is poorly designed but other than that it does the job well. The little controller it comes with to use functions on the lights works flawlessly well so even if you can't get the app to work well you have that at least. And for everyone else who's complained about horrible integration with like a smart voice assistance device like Google or Alexa which is what I own (echo dot 3rd gen), I haven't had any problems. Also there is more colors to choose from in the actual app for the led lights than in Alexa so take note of that if you can't find a color you like (see pictures below). In fact one of the more frequent complaints I see is how when people want to pair it to a new wifi and being unable to, I just got a new router and modem so my wifi info changed and I had to resync it to the led lights and my Alexa, haven't had any problems pairing it to my Alexa again or my wifi. I think people just don't know how to follow the reset instructions it comes with in the box which clearly states that you have to unplug the power source from the led strip connector while it's on 3 times and then after the 3rd time wait a few seconds and it begins to flash and cycle through multiple colors meaning it's ready to pair to another wifi which is done by connecting to the wifi channel the connector emits. Once you do that open the app and follow the instructions that come after that. Easy peasy. Some people will complain just about anything if they don't understand it themselves. Anywho, not here to write a review on people's competence when it comes to minimalistic task such as pairing a led light strip to your wifi.Tldr: Great product for the price. Lights are decently bright and colors are vibrant.
