Review: EZ Cart - Initially, I was concerned about the construction and durability of the cart. Once I received the cart I was no longer concerned. The cart fits my 300X, 350FX, and 420X, and it is very simple to attach my kayaks to the cart. During the assembly of the cart, I replaced the circular clips that hold the wheels on the axle with hitch pin clips. This makes it much easier to assemble or disassemble so that I can put the wheels and axle in a mesh bag and store them flat in the back of the kayaks. That way I have the cart available to portage the kayaks when necessary around difficult rapids. The wheels worked fine in sandy areas and over rocks. I have double stacked the kayaks on the cart without exceeding the design weight limits, and found the cart to be very stable.
Review: Does what they say it does! - Works well with my Sea Eagle 285FPB Frameless Pontoon Boat. Does exactly what it's meant to do. A couple of minor issues. 1) don't love or understand why the two straps. I've purchased two long bungee cords and double strap it - way easier. 2) Don't love the round rings that keep the wheels attached to the axel. I'm going to replace with easier to remove cotter pins. One more word of caution - Mine arrived in two packages 3 days apart.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: You list 440fc foldcat as one of the boat models that this cart can fit under. the width of the 440fc is 5' 11". how is this going to work?**
A: The present EZCART wide does not work with the older model 440fc. This is due to the fact that the wheels on the EZCART Wide are now taller then previously. It will work on the current model foldcat 375fc., which is smaller than the 440fc. Unfortunately we do not have a cart that would work with your model foldcat. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact Sea Eagle Boats customer service at 800 748 8066 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST.

**Q: Is there a way to leave this securely mounted underneath while navigating the SE9 model on water? Or do you have to mount/unmount each time?**
A: Thank you for your interest in Sea Eagle Boats. Our EZCART is not at all meant to remain on your boat while on the water. It simply allows you to roll your Sea Eagle from where you inflated it to where you launch it. Packs down for easy transport.

**Q: will the cart work well with inflatable boats that have inflated keel (which creates a "v" bottom?**
A: I don't think so, it doesnt give a lot of ground clearance

**Q: The sea eagle 285fpb is 48" wide, and the small cart is 47" max. I see people approving the small cart?? Is this true or do i need the wide cart?**
A: Yes, I would be happy too.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes kayak transport so much easier! One person job!!
*by E***N on November 14, 2025*

Used our inflatable sea eagle kayak for the first time while traveling in Ontario. These wheels were a huge asset. Worth every penny! Even my husband complemented me for taking the initiative of getting the wheels. We were camping and my husband sat on the back of the tailgate and held the kayak up and I drove 3 mph to bring the kayak back to our campsite. It was wonderful. I remember the very first time we used the kayak (before wheels) we had to carry it Down to the water. It was awful because to me it felt so awkward and heavy because we also have a bixby motor on it. Now my husband can do all the heavy lifting by himself. Sometimes it’s great to be a weakling.
