Review: Polyweb is the best tone feel - I don’t know if they stopped making these or what but the longevity of the Elixir Coated string is unmatched. The nanoweb was a bit bright for my tone but the feel was fast and sleek. The optoweb has nice tone and the longevity of coated strings but not the really smooth feeling. If they ever make the Polyweb again I will go back but for now I have been using the Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt for that uncolored clarity and presence of the subtle overtones without too much treble that I enjoyed about the polyweb but they are not coated. Might have to get used to the brightness of the nanoweb… I like the feel and the longevity is unmatched. I put them on my acoustic guitars too!

I don’t know if they stopped making these or what but the longevity of the Elixir Coated string is unmatched. The nanoweb was a bit bright for my tone but the feel was fast and sleek. The optoweb has nice tone and the longevity of coated strings but not the really smooth feeling. As always, elixir strings are the best! I love these things. They make it so much easier on the fingers and keep the sound. I don't get my thumb annihilated each time I pluck a string. I can't ever not want elixirs on my guitar. I'm unsure about a comparison to the other webs, but polyweb is great for my taste. 10/10 would buy again!
