I use them in my closet and the lighting is adequate to see the entire closet plus the motion sensor triggers them to come on automatically They do need recharging about every couple of weeks Recharge takes about 30 minutes I would reccommend these to anyone who is looking for extra brightness in an enclosed area ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Stairway Light *by I***N on February 26, 2018* I needed a basic light for the basement stairs and wanted motion detection. I used duct tape to position the light in different places so we could determine where the optimum motion and light exposure would be before peeling off the 3M tape and taping the base to a shelf. Since I had a light with an electrical outlet on the stairway, I don't recharge the light since its always plugged in.The light is not overpowering but it can be glaring if not positioned properly.
