BUT with a massive educational aspect to it. It makes the idea of travel to the Travel Snobs as "Ive been there and done it" onto a completely different planet, literally Karl travels really make you see and feel the less sophisticated side of travel and to me far more authentic! How he has been set up is mind blowing gormless and still at times ungraciously sticks to his mission well nearly all the time!!!It could be the other side of an Attenborough or Palin documentary. Poor old Karl doesnt always see the positive side of his friend set up antics but one is totally drawn in. Keep them coming! I still want to know how he comes up with some items like his jungle portable loo??I purchased two sets of dvd but found in both the 1st series dvd had problems adjusting onto my television but worked on my lap top. A present for anyone who needs a pick me up. Thank you ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Opening The Product *by L***O on 16 October 2013* Absolutely LOVE this! Excellent, hilarious and an absolute must watch if you love simple humour :') Here's a random little bit of a rant I made when I was bored haha;Right. So, I bought a box set. I missed the delivery so had to go visit the local post office depot to get it. Got home. Opened the Amazon package. It was encased in plastic wrap (as expected). However, once you open this plastic wrap around the whole thing, each individual DVD case then has ITS OWN plastic wrap. WHY!?!. Oh wait... only series 1 and 2 had it. Series 3 obviously was less likely to escape its case and take over the world. ALSO... the way the DVD cases are placed in the right side of the box with the 'spine' showing...makes you see the BACK of the DVD once you take them all out. Great. ALSO... inside one of the DVD cases... was a little booklet telling you to buy the DVD that you already had because it was inside the exact same case. WHERE'S THE LOGIC! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We love Karl Pilkington *by S***K on 19 September 2015* We love Karl Pilkington, and what can I say - we love this set of DVDs. His humour is so off-beat, and whilst I'm not normally a fan of anything involving Ricky Gervais, I can deal with his presence on these episodes.We watched these when they were on TV, and became slightly gutted when they were no longer available to stream, so I bought the DVDs for my bf for a present - they were a really reasonable price on Amazon, and next day delivery which is perfect.Karl has all number of begrudging adventures, and part of the joy of watching them is trying to figure out if he's learnt to enjoy them yet.
