I use on a sofa. Lovely throw. **Q: is this heavy?** A: Yes. Very but that’s not a bad thing as it feels more warming. It was that heavy that I actually thought that there was something wrapped inside it when I opened it! **Q: Does anyone know how much it costs to run ? Would it be cheaper than putting the heating on low** A: This is not electric. BUT I do have an electric throw purchased in 2019 then it cost 2p for 9hrs so even with the massive energy hike mine will now cost 20p for 9 hrs . A gas boiler will cost around 20p in 20 min . My guess only **Q: I understand the throw throw is fairly light in terms of weight, but how warm is it?** A: Subjective - But it's good for an afternoon snooze. I'd suggest it'd be Spring tog weight equivalent - So usually I sleep under a 9 tog in winter (bedroom runs warm), at the moment have just the summer weight duvet plus this throw on top. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/55339101-faux-fur-sofa-throw-blanket-not-heated-soft-bed-throw](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/55339101-faux-fur-sofa-throw-blanket-not-heated-soft-bed-throw) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
