From the manufacturer Wera 8000 C SB Fine-tooth design allows a small return angle of 5° Freely pivoting ratchet head, push button release and left/right switchover Flywheel design and easy-to-grip free-turning sleeve for very high working speeds The Wera Zyklop Speed ratchet combines the advantages of five different types of ratchet in one. And it is a really fast mover Can also be used as a screwdriver Speed Multi-function Ratchet Zyklop ratchet with 1/2"drive. The 72 fine-pitched teeth enable a low return angle of only 5°. The ratchet head pivots freely and can be locked into any position by using the slide switch that is positioned on either side. It is even possible to work conveniently in very confined and difficult-to-access areas with enhanced hand clearance. The predefined locking positions at 0°, 15° und 90°, both to the right and left, ensure safe working without any slipping of the ratchet head. The ratchet can be used as a conventional screwdriver in the 0° position by attaching an adaptor and a bit. The flywheel design ensures rapid screwdriving. The rotation-symmetric construction of the Kraftform handle and the free-turning sleeve support rapid twisting. The outstanding design of the Kraftform handle fits perfectly into the hand preventing hand injuries such as blisters and calluses.

Review: heavy tool - perfect tool, fast delivery and well packaged, not had a bad wera tool yet and from the weight and feel of this i think its going to be brilliant.
Review: Quality Wera 1/2” drive socket wrench - You get what you pay for at the end of the day, pure quality and a satisfying solid feel to the ratchet. Not used in anger as yet so to speak but l can see by its function and engineering that it will last a long time. Okay at £50+ pounds it is not cheap however it should last, bought to replace my old functioning 1/2” drive ratchet which is 40+ years old now. Went the whole hog and bought the short and long extension bars to complete the set, these are well engineered too and not flexible as far as being bendy but rigid although flexible in their use. Recommended.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you fit socket adapters to it from 1/2" to 3/8" or 1/4" sockets so you don't have to by all three sized ratchets**
A: I can't see why not as 1/2 to 3/8 adapters, and indeed to 1/4 have long been available. There would be a lengthening of your socket and a little play but it should be fine. I suspect a bit bulky to use with 1/4 inch sockets in practice., and easy to overtighten/shear small bolts.

**Q: Can the hang tag be removed by the recipient after delivery without special tools?**
A: Yes. Remove in the same way as ejecting a socket

**Q: Can i use it with non wera 1/2 inch square drive sockets that i already have?**
A: Yes you can, in fact my sockets are non Wera also.
The only point to note is that you have to order the relevant size wrench for the sockets you own.

**Q: Does it come with a case ?**
A: If it's just a ratchet no. You have to buy a set to get a metal case. Dont worry you wont be disappointed with it. It's a brilliant piece of engineering..
