I bought it to replace a scratched screen. For that it worked perfectly.I only replaced the front piece, as the back seemed rather daunting. I was able to change out the front in about 30 minutes. I you have to pre-thread the holes! They're hard to start even then. I had to take it apart twice, but it was my fault because the first time i smudged the screen and second there was spec of lint trapped inside.I used the black front and battery cover with a solid red special edition. I kept the old buttons and now it looks really great IMO, better than the second God of War special edition.It looks brand new from the front. My only complaint is the top strip of plastic isn't as flush as it was. It's probably my fault with the screws. I haven't had any problems with it. I've probably played with it +40 hours and never had any screws come out or anything break. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Case for your PSP 2000 series *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2011* It came with all the announced parts, installing the case was a fun challenge without turning into nightmare though this procedure may appear, thanks to the simple design of the PSP primarily and secondly to the guide provided through the web site of the seller which it's spot on in every step need it to complete the transferring of all the internal parts of the PSP, but at the end some problems emerged, first when preparing to do this case change opening the new case resulted in a couple of plastic pieces to broke apart, which one at the end resulted to be a useful one (thankfully not a imperative piece, taking apart that it may be possible to glue it where it's suppose to go) the other I didn't found what purpose it had so ended up dumping it, the other problem was that the power slider is very tight and wont act as in the original (also this may be solved with some kind of lubricant compound).After all the experience was over, the results even with its few problems were admirable, the glossy finish of the old original case can't even match the new one and it looks merely just as a new PSP out of the box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My psp looks perfect now :D *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2012* So I bought this old PSP 2000 from someone for $20.
