I tore my rotator cuff several months back and had a lot of pain for several months. this helped immensely with alleviating the pain. Then later, after physical therapy/exercise, when I had some discomfort it worked well. It's a little tight, but works for me. The included ice packs are hard when they are frozen. Which is okay. But, I also purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AZ72MAE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 gel packs, which fit as well, and are a little more comfortable since they are softer. I use it after my exercises as I have had a shoulder replacement which becomes very unhappy with too much activity. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Nice Shoulder Ice Pack - Could Use Slight Improvement in the Ice Packs *by R***0 on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2018* Having to deal with multiple tears in my rotator cuff, I have purchased several shoulder ice packs. They all work, some comfortable and some not. This one in the 5 days I have had it has been the best so far. I ice my shoulder 3 to 4 times daily. However, this pack would have earned 5 stars if not for the fact that the edges of the ice packs exceed the length of the cover and cut into the side of your neck. I have found a simple fix though. Take 3 rubber bands per ice pack and put them on lengthwise on the ice pack. This will force the edges down and under and keep them from cutting into your neck.
