Do not buy this item. There were no contacts for the batteries so it is completely useless. I thought this little light would be a great solution. Its quite bright and the dimmer works great. It can get down to a very nice soft glow. The down side is you can't turn off the motion sensor and it's very touchy. It almost needs you to touch it for it to realise you are there. It shuts off every 60 sec or so.
