I Like This Belt!
This belt reminds me of the belt I wore in the Navy with dungarees. Navy Blue cotton with brass buckle. I wear it with work clothes and it looks and works great. Holds my pants up!You must size it to your waist as it only comes in one length. I have a 32” waist and the belt was way too long. I removed the buckle and laid one of my leather belts on top of the new belt and then cut it to the same length, including buckle. Perfect fit.Cotton, brass, Navy Blue, works great, and made in the USA. What’s not to like?

Not Solid Brass
It's a quality product and the width of the belt is correct for military buckles. It states it is a brass buckle. It is a brass PLATED buckle. Magnets attach to it because it is a ferrous metal...probably steel. It is made in the U.S.A. Yay!The plating will eventually wear-off.I have an old solid brass one and it attached well because the belt is the correct width.I like the product. Too bad it's brass plated and doesn't state that in the description. Obfuscation.

It is a gift.
My son wanted a belt exactly like this. He cut it to fit. We bought one for his friend also.

Good Quality
This is a high quality product. The belt webbing is great and the buckle is much heavier metal than I was expecting.

Good belt
Bought this to wear with shorts which have narrower belt loops than regular jeans. Not as heavy duty as the military belts but it does the job at half the price. The webbing, in particular, is strong and well made - it hasn't frayed after months of daily use. And once it's locked in it stays there.

Buckle Plating
Overall I like the belt. The thickness of the webbing is .1”/2.5mm. My only complaint is the quality of the buckle. The thickness of the steel used is .034” and it appears the mfg. stamped the brass plated material from sheet stock then bent/formed it into shape because the edges do not have any plating. I suspect To keep exposed steel from rusting they must have applied a varnish. If this is the case, you will not be able the polish the brass. I don’t believe the steel is stainless because it is magnetic. The mfg claims “Made in USA” from “globally sourced materials” I have no doubt the belt was assembled in the USA but I seriously doubt any fabrication of the belt parts was manufactured in the USA. What say you Thomas Bates? show us pictures of you stateside factory.Edited: after owning and wearing this belt the finish on the small brass end protector has deteriorated and come off exposing the silver colored metal. As noted in my previous review the brass finish is suspect.
