Review: Great Spy Gear Set, enough gear to keep the kids entertained for hours! - Well, SpyX headquarters came through with this kit for my 8 year old daughter. I see now that it has arrived that it received 2015 product of the year from Creative child magazine. This kit is great for kids with siblings as it is great to track, warn of invading siblings and listen in on [as a spy of course] your sibling. Its nice that everything fits on a spy belt via belt clips. Her favorite gadgets were the motion detector, which terrorized the dog for a couple of days until we turned it off, and the invisible ink pen. I know your thinking, invisible ink pen, there has to be a million of these, but this pen has a secret compartment that kids paper for on the fly spy notes and a 'UV' light to reveal the secret message you just wrote. The LED light, is a very nice laser pointer style spy light that fits over ear and was pretty entertaining. The 'Micro Listener' was a bit harder for her to use since the ear piece was a bit big for her ear but regardless watching her press it to the wall to spy on her brother was pretty precious. Well worth the investment. Solid Gear.

**Q: is it also a walkie-talkie**
A: No. Not a walkie talkie. It's a digital watch that has several time zones, setting for an alarm, has red secret message paper and capsule, red decoder lense, and flashlight. Worked fine but battery died really fast.

**Q: Does it come with something to write**
A: it has been a few years since I bought it for my son but if I remember correctly, the watch itself tells time and can show other world time zones too. I comes with red scramble paper for writing "secret messages" and the red lens is for reading them.  It also  comes with this little capsule that you roll up your secret messages and put them in the tiny capsule.  A must have for all spies in training.  ;)

**Q: is this wath water resistant?**
A: Probably not- I checked the box and a lot of other information is on it but nothing about water resistance-

**Q: MHow do I open the watch to change battery?**
A: 1. Pease loosen the Philips-head screws on the watch back and remove
2. Please loosen the 2 screws on the battery clip
3. Remove the battery and the clip together
4. Unclip old battery and install new battery + side up

Fun, my son likes these. He loves to try and set boobytraps. They are small and kind of cheaply made, but fun for now! The alarm piece seems very loud for a toy.
