    do not buy if you want a durable trombone ...

it does work, but if you want a durable trombone do not buy. mine lasted about a year and a half before it suddenly snapped, not with force, another issue is that when you move the slide you can hear the sound of the plastic rubbing together, that can be quite frustrating. other than that it is alright, it does work like a regular trombone.
