The instructions that came with the traps were very helpful, including where and how to place the traps. We got our first mole with the first 24 hours! After that I had to move the traps around a bit until we got the second mole. The traps are easy to set and performed flawlessly. They are strong traps which makes it a little challenging to open the trap and drop the dead mole out, but I'll take that. The first time I set it over an active tunnel it caught a mole in less than three hours. Over the many years that moles have been destroying my yard I have tried the natural method which had no effect. I have also spent a fortune on poison worms that also had no effect. And I have bought other traps that I could never really figure out if they were set correctly.In about a week and a half I have caught 6 moles. It’s been three weeks since I caught the last mole and I have not found any new mole tunnels since then. I would definitely recommend this trap. Also the traps are very sturdy and well made. I also found that it killed quickly.
