    A Fun Festive Read 🎄🐻‍❄️🐭

We Disagree About This Tree is a fun festive read about Bear and Mouse who can't disagree on how to decorate the Christmas tree but they find a way to make it work in the end.The children enjoyed this book and loved seeing all of the fun and silly ideas that both Bear and Mouse had about decorating the tree. The story is good for a quick read which means the children wanted it read many times in a row! It is nice that we got to see Mouse and Bear working out how to get along when they keep disagreeing but it is a shame that the tree wasn't a part of this and is instead ignored by the end of the book.The illustrations are mostly just Mouse, Bear and a tree which is nice as they're not too busy and it gives us a chance to look at all they've done with the tree since the previous page. The pictures were a great way to get the children thinking about describing words as they'd often share that the decorations were too big, bright, heavy etc. Their favourite was seeing the fairy they chose for the top of the tree, they found that one very funny!This is a great Christmas book that young children will find very amusing, we liked how relatable the characters are and seeing all the silly ideas the pair had.
