Will purchase again. Review: Does what it is supposed to - This filter works great and can hold a lot of dirt before the pressure drops, more than other filters of the same micron rating I have tried. I even used them to the point that I had a layer of sediment laying on the bottom of my filter housing and the filter was pure clay red color but still had very little pressure drop. As with all filters (air, water, furnace, your dryer etc), the more dirt, sand, and silt, dust, pollen in your water or air, the more often you will have to replace the filter. Seems like common sense but a lot of people leave negative reviews expecting a 1 micron filter to last 3 months with dirty well water. This filter has a nominal rating of 75-25 microns. This is the perfect filter for most people on well water that want a whole house filter and gives a good balance of sediment free clean water and replacement times and I haven't had to clean out my faucet and washing machine screens once since using them. If you want additional filtration for drinking and cooking, consider an additional undersink system with a 1-5 micron rating. You'll end up replacing all of the filter less often. ## Features - KEEP YOUR WATER CLEAN and protect your appliances by removing dirt, sand, silt and particulates. DGD Big Blue water filter cartridges are designed for purity and will NOT impart taste, odor or color to your water - IDEAL HIGH-FLOW PRE-FILTER. Filter density increases toward the cartridge's center resulting in superior particulate reduction and 3X the dirt holding capacity of similar size sediment cartridges - TESTED AND CERTIFIED BY NSF INTERNATIONAL to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for your peace of mind. Manufactured with 100% pure polypropylene - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B003VT7BKE | | Benefits | Removes Dust | | Best Sellers Rank | 2,743,413 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 2,339 in Water Filter Cartridges | | Brand | Pentek | | Brand Name | Pentek | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 158 Reviews | | External Testing Certification | NSF | | External testing certification | NSF | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00051678355435 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 11.4D x 11.4W x 25.1H centimetres | | Item Highlight | 25-Micron Dual-Gradient Density Polypropylene, 3X Dirt-Holding Capacity, NSF/ANSI 42 Certified | | Item Weight | 163 g | | Item weight | 163 g | | Manufacture Year | 2025 | | Manufacturer | Pentek | | Manufacturer Part Number | 155355-43 | | Material | Polypropylene (PP) | | Material Type | Polypropylene (PP) | | Model Number | DGD-7525 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product benefits | Removes Dust | | Product dimensions | 11.4D x 11.4W x 25.1H centimetres | | Set Name | 25 micron | | UPC | 851905131449 807032972400 051678355435 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **External Testing Certification:** NSF - **Item Weight:** 5.76 ounces - **Material:** Polypropylene (PP) - **Product Benefits:** Removes Dust - **Product Dimensions:** 4.49"D x 4.49"W x 9.88"H ## Images ![Pentek DGD-7525 Spun Polypropylene Filter Cartridge, 10 x 4-1/2 by Pentek - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618ixpgGmgL.jpg) ![Pentek DGD-7525 Spun Polypropylene Filter Cartridge, 10 x 4-1/2 by Pentek - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Nl6X4thyL.jpg) ![Pentek DGD-7525 Spun Polypropylene Filter Cartridge, 10 x 4-1/2 by Pentek - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71UpUBbCRlL.jpg) ![Pentek DGD-7525 Spun Polypropylene Filter Cartridge, 10 x 4-1/2 by Pentek - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qUsj2bayL.jpg) ![Pentek DGD-7525 Spun Polypropylene Filter Cartridge, 10 x 4-1/2 by Pentek - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qztsq-WKL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit will buy again *by B***S on 20 February 2026* Fits perfectly and the quality of the product looks equally good as original. Way cheaper too for what you get. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pentair Pentek DGD-7525 Big Blue Water Filter, 10-Inch Whole House Sediment Filter Cartridge Replacement, Dual-Gradient Density Spun Polypropylene, 10" x 4.5", 25 Micron, Pack of 1 - Captain O-Ring - Replacement 151122 O-Rings Compatible with Pentair Pentek Big Blue Water Filters OEM Size ORing Buna-N (3 Pack) - Pentair Pentek 150237 Big Blue Filter Housing, 1" NPT #10 Whole House Heavy Duty Water Filter Housing with High-Flow Polypropylene (HFPP) Cap and Pressure Relief Button, 10-Inch, Black/Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/543700943-pentek-dgd-7525-spun-polypropylene-filter-cartridge-10-x-4](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/543700943-pentek-dgd-7525-spun-polypropylene-filter-cartridge-10-x-4) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
