However, thieves know that if they have been caught by a camera it’s likely that somewhere in the property is a DVR (digital video recorder) to store the footage. If they can find that, destroy or remove it they are one step towards getting away with the crime. To counteract this we encourage customers to invest in a DVR lock box. Constructed from a strong 16 gauge steel it has a hinged front panel which features a camlock (two keys supplied) to secure the unit. The top of the lock box can be removed, when it is unlocked, to give you full access to the rear of your DVR and all of the inputs / outputs. Our lock boxes include pre-drilled hole(s) and knockout holes which can be used for cableing or act as a suitable place install a fan to keep your DVR cool.
