I looked at the Karbon protective case from OnePlus, but after shipping it was going to cost more than 4 of these Spigen cases, so I couldn't justify, and I'm glad I went this route. The case is thick enough to be protective but without really feeling bulky. It's a really nice upgrade from the smoked or clear case that comes in the box with the phone. It looks nicer in person than in photos, even if the "carbon fiber" parts are a bit cheesy. The cut out for the fingerprint scanner is nicely done for comfort, there is a decent lip around the screen for face-down drop protection. I do wish there was more selection in general for 5T cases, since most on Amazon are about 4 or 5 different designs copied over and over by several vendors. BUT, I would have to say this is among the best. It's a pretty solid case, the built material is excellent and It doesn't add too much bulk to the phone, which is great because that's a big phone already. The back of the case could have a better grip texture, sometimes I feel the phone is going to slip out of my hands, especially when I'm typing on it. Anyway, It still has a reasonable grip and it's not going fall out of your hands that easily.If you plan to buy this case you must be aware that isn't compatible with third party glass screen protectors. I tried to use this particular case with the Mazdom screen protector and as soon as I put the case back on the phone, the edges of the screen protector started to pop up.
