It comes in three pieces: the base, the etched Mario head, and a USB cord. It also takes 3 AA batteries - not included. The button on the base is not really a button it is a touch button, in order to change colors you have to lightly tap it, and to turn it off; you have to hold your finger on the "button". It's a great gift for any Mario fan!

I think many people confuse this as supposing to be the size of a lamp because it stands on surfaces alone and isn't plugged into a wall like typical night lights. The quality of everything is great you can change the colors of it with the touch sensitive button on the front side or set it to change colors on its own. It's definitely for decoration and entertainment purposes only it does not give off enough light to be able to see anything in a dark room. I love it and am definitely ordering other items of this type again

Granted it is not an actual 3d lamp although it is advertised as one. I still think the lamp is awesome. It not worth more than $10 as it is an off off off off market brand. It comes in three pieces: the base, the etched Mario head, and a USB cord. It also takes 3 AA batteries - not included. The button on the base is not really a button it is a touch button, in order to change colors you have to lightly tap it, and to turn it off; you have to hold your finger on the "button". It's a great gift for any Mario fan!

I gave this to my son as a gift and he loves it. It has several light settings and it is totally adorable as well. The only thing I would change is that there is no On/Off button. You have to disconnect the USB when you want to turn it off. But overall, it's worth it.
