I think eventually, the material will wear out from me having to pull the velcro off of it every time I wear them.After trying the large, I like them better because I have more range of tightness without the velcro sticking.Because the adjustable strap lifts slightly at the corners, I don't see myself wearing these beneath pants unless they are relatively loose-fitting. Pulling the pants up or down would catch the lifted corner.
