## Description

Iron Grey - Card Codex Portfolio 576

Review: No bulge! Pages lie flat even with it filled, unlike the Vault X 12 Pocket Binder! - After doing tons of research, I bought this binder to replace my Vault X 12 Pocket Binder XL. The problem with the binder from Vault X was that there was a very large bulge on the pages and it caused my valued cards to bend. Because of Dragon Shield’s reputation, I knew their quality would be top-notch. I was immediately surprised by how premium the binder felt in my hands. The outer covers would not bend at all. The texture and the art of the covers looked amazing. The binder comes with a paper that can be slotted into the spine for a custom label for your binder. Comparing it to the last binder I owned, the card slots were much farther away from the spine of the binder. Because of this, all the pages were flat when I filled all the pockets. I was satisfied with this product as I knew my cards would not bend when flipping through it. The pockets are super clear and will allow your foiled cards to shine! I recommend not using Ultra Pro Penny Sleeves with this binder as the pockets are a bit shorter than those sleeves. Vault X soft card sleeves would fit. If you use Dragon Shield sleeves for your cards in this binder, there is no need to double-sleeve your cards as the sleeves fit perfectly into the slots and will not allow particles to enter. After shaking the binder vigorously, the strap is very strong and keeps the binder closed. If you are looking to store your valued cards in a binder, get this binder as its quality is unmatched compared to a Vault X Binder!
Review: 🤷 Nearly perfect. ✨✨ - What can I say about these binders? Dragon shield binders do almost everything I need them to do. They have: - durable, synthetic material, which has a texture that almost calls back to leather. It's a synthetic, for sure...but the quality is there. - fixed pages: they have well-spaced, durable, quality portfolio pages. Not quite as nice as the BCW Z-folio's pages, but still excellent. - most importantly: a SLOT FOR LABELS. Yes, I capitalized that. Do you know how many quality binders out there that have no space for a simple label insert? Not a single competitor. VaultX for example relies on colors and spine binder numbers...but yeah...no. I want clean uniformity for my collection...not vague binder numbers or colors that make my prized collection look like a bowl of fruity pebbles. We've all seen the atrocities, too...people putting tape on their binder spines, or worse: writing on their 40 dollar binders with sharpies. And still, no other manufacturers include a spot for labels. 🤷 You will remember: I said "nearly" perfect. That is because this particular line uses straps instead of zippers. Suffice to say, I am not a fan of elastic straps. I would wager that they will eventually lose their elasticity, and render the binder useless. Why on Earth wouldn't Dragon Shield include a zipper like they do their Zipster 3-ring model? I had even reached out to them to see if there were any plans to include a zipped fixed-page version, and gave me a definitive no. Oh well. Despite that, these binders are top-notch, and I would recommend them, OR the aforementioned Zipster model line to anyone looking for a top-quality way to store and display their collection.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durable, High capacity

Excellent binder tbh. Large storage amount and great overall construction. Doesn't make me worry about card protection, I can tell they're safe. Worth the money imo. This could go either way depending on how you view it, but cards (sleeved especially) have a habit of sliding around in the pockets, and the sideloading makes them vulnerable to slipping part of the way out and possibly getting bent if you're not careful. But they're easy to pull out because of that also. Just be careful and you should be fine. Great product.
