These binoculars seem to be well made with a good rubber protective coating (although I've not used them in harsh weather yet) and for £50 they give a very clear image. They come with a good carry case, decent rubber lens caps and an ok strap. The only criticism is the twist adjustable eye pieces for spectacle users. A nice thought but I would prefer standard rubber eye pieces that can still be folded flat for glasses. This is a personal preference and I would certainly not let it put me off buying these as for the money I have not come across any better. ### ⭐⭐ Looking through them gives me a very muddled image - I would not recommend them. *by J***Y on 14 July 2015* I have found everything about these binoculars very difficult. Looking through them gives me a very muddled image - I would not recommend them. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not for birding *by R***H on 30 December 2015* I bought these as a second pair to keep in the car. Main use for birdwatching. Optically they are OK, not brilliant, but OK and good value for money. The reason for the three stars is that the focus wheel is very low geared, and focussing involves lots of turns of the wheel. As a result focussing is slow. This makes them difficult to use to observe fast moving objects - many times by the time I had focused the bird had flown off.
