They have rated bolts and that may or may not be necessary. CAUTION TO RETRAX owners: Retrax tonneau covers have only 4 points of attachment to secure them from removal. Only the rear 2 can accommodate 2 clamps. The clamps can be placed in tandem, but the forward attachment points have teflon screws that allow only 1 clamp each to be attatched.
