Compared to the shops this price is very good. the quality is ok for the price but I didn't want to spend any more as I am leaving it in a rented house. Had this been for me I would have wanted better quality but would have expected to pay much more. This actually looks a lot better than what I expected.

Looks great in the photos, but in reality, is much smaller than similar guards you see in fireplace shops. Narrower than my firegrate and possibly not tall enough to catch spitting ash. The other bonus is that the pieces that hold the 3 screens together are loose, and the side screens tend to buckle between top and bottom. Maybe if you have a small fire.

I've had this a year now and it is used at a holiday cottage. It is quite delicate and fell apart on one occasion because the connecting screws were not tightened sufficiently. Tricky to put back together. It's fine for the price and does the job but don't try to move it too often.
