This could be dangerous on a mountain. Other hikers had Black Diamond. One hiker pointed out that the twist locks that I had can give way, as mine did, and recommended the Black Diamond with its more secure locks. It cost more than my original poles but safety is important. I also like the fact that this is a woman's size. I'm 5'1" and unisex rarely works for me.
