It also provides options to tent your remarkable for reading **Q: Does the magnet interfere with the writing?** A: The magnet does NOT interfere - in fact, it works VERY well to keep the cover closed. I recommend buying the cover that has the "pen" holder, otherwise, you'll be buying another pen in a few weeks! **Q: does the tablet come with it the case** A: This product is just the case. It fits the Remarkable2 tablet very nicely. When you purchase the Remarkable2 tablet from the Remarkable store, unless you purchase the $100 case as an add-on, the tablet does not come with a case.
