Not knowing the ability of this tool to gradually lower the load, I positioned a spacer between the bottom of the floor and the bottom of the dresser to absorb any sudden hard impact from the load bottoming out and damaging the dresser. I would suggest that one can place spacers between the fish tank and the final landing place. This way one can avoid a mishap by having the fish tank land hard. **Q: Is this tool only for men?** A: A whole lot of ads for same and similar items SHOW CASE women as the main users. They do slide a little if they are on an uneven surface. They are safe to use as long as you read the instructions.
