The rivets are the same quality I see in products I buy, so they are good enough. I have installed a handful so far and all of them worked just fine. To be fair, I was careful and didn't overdo it on the hammering, but each one turned out nicely and was still in the proper shape. It didn't come with instructions in a meaningful way, but there are many youtube videos and the process is mostly self-explanatory. Mine worked and they seem nice and sturdy. I did two initially to get the spacing right, so you can see that two are closer together than is optimal, but they worked and I learned what the closest distance was. I also really appreciated the variety of finishes available. I really like this sort of gunmetal color, but the gold and silver are very handy for matching to existing products. The hole punch that comes with it works well, but I would recommend getting something to place under whatever you are punching. Ideally it would be a poly block or something tough, but also malleable. You can also use scrap wood or scrap leather.
