An "SAE" connect is an SAE connection, in the same way that a UK 3 pin mains plug is a UK 3 pin mains plug, the name denotes a type and format. A few chargers do use their own unique ends, example Oxford Optimate motorcycle charger, but if your AA end looks like the one in this picture then yes, it'll be an SAE end. You can buy many connection types on line using this SAE plug.....eg, SAE to Ring Terminal, SAE to Cigarette plug, SAE to USB socket.....I have many of them, it's a very convenient and safe way of joining two low voltage wires where rapid disconnection or change of end / use is required. **Q: Is this for connecting to a specific charger or can I connect positive and negative crocodile clips?** A: You can add what you want on the ends or couple together to make up varying lengths **Q: Will a 12ft cable charge better / quicker than a 25ft cable** A: Short answer is no, the charge times will be about the same to within a few minutes. Longer answer is that assuming the wire gauge is the same for both cables there will be a slightly higher voltage drop using the long cable, so the voltage at the battery terminals will be a fraction lower than what the charger is supplying. The charge time might be a fraction longer but in practice, the state of charge of the battery and the temperature will likely make a bigger difference to charge time than the length of the cable. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 July 2026* Makes such a difference to the placement of our solar panel ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 June 2026* Nice heavy duty cable. Feels like it will last. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works sort of *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 October 2023* It fits perfectly well and the adapter does too, unfortunately I cannot run my charger to bike using this extension as the charger detects the extra length so won’t allow a charge. But the cable is fine it’s a me issue ## Frequently Bought Together - KUNCAN 25FT SAE to SAE 2 Pin Extension Cable DC Power 16awg Heavy Duty Battery Quick Disconnect/Connect Wire Harness with SAE Connectors with Dust Cap - EXTRACTME 10AWG 2 Pin Power Industrial Circular Connector to SAE Adapter Cable, Furion Solar Plug to SAE Connector, Fit for Furrion, Solar Panel Suitcase, Forrest River RV Ports - DOKIO Portable Foldable 100W 18v Solar Suitcase Monocrystalline, Folding Solar Panel Kit with Controller to Charge 12 Volts Batteries (AGM Lead/Acid Types Vented Gel) RV Camping Boat --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/52973024-25ft-sae-to-sae-extension-cable](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/52973024-25ft-sae-to-sae-extension-cable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
