The guitar was of good quality with a nice bag with shoulder straps and carry handle, a capo and some picks. The strings completely slack as expected. As usual nylon strings can be a pain to tune till settled. I tuned it the first day and again a few hours later after the strings had settled down. The same again the next day and by the third day the strings had hardly lost any of their tune, meaning they had settled in. Only the the G, B and E strings needed minimal adjustment. In my opinion that tells me that the strings must be of good quality as I've had cheaper strings which were sometimes near impossible to hold in tune and finished up spending extra on a decent set of strings. I believe most of the time you get what you pay for and in this case the price is reasonable for this package. The guitar feels sturdy, looks very nice and appears value for money compared to some very cheap ones available in multi stores, more so when you add up all the extras which are included in the package (bag, picks, capo) and the quality of the strings. Thanks for your message. For an adult, the standard size is a Full Size classical guitar. However, you can use a 3/4 size, as these can be more manageable for beginners who are new to the guitar. **Q: Can the strings be replaced with strings other than nylon?** A: No, absolutely not. Steel strings have much higher tension than nylon strings, and this guitar is not designed to take such tension - no classical guitar is. You will end up with a ruined guitar with a very bent, or even broken neck. **Q: Is full size good for a 5”4 13 year old?** A: Yes I should think so. I bought a 3/4 size for my grandson (who is a big 6 year old)and I β€˜tested’ it first. Lovely guitar for learning on, stayed in tune, easy to play and amazing quality for the price. The size is perfect. 3 of the strings are plastic so don’t sound the best. Doesn’t have a hole at the bottom to attach a strap which would have been good. It looks great, does have a shein on it, so you can see fingerprints on it. It’s fallen over and been kicked about but there are no scuffs or damage so it’s durable.
