For a twist, add half a grated apple or a fist of sultanas to the dough and sprinkle with soft brown sugar before baking. Helens Brilliant Scone Mix is made without wheat and gluten and yeast free. Store unopened in a dry, cool place.             Ingredients          Rice Flour, Corn Flour, Potato Flour, Flaxseed Flour, Sugar, Raising Agents: (Sodium Bicarbonate, Disodium Diphosphate), Sea Salt, Stabiliser: Xanthan Gum.

Not happy with colour of these when they are cooked, a sort of dirty grey colour! They were quite flavourless and didn't feel or even look like scones. The texture was more like bread, so for the amount there is it's a rather expensive batch of bread rolls! I won't be buying these again, even my husband thought they were a bit naff.
