Review: Sturdy craft cutter - A sturdy cutter for many materials easy to set up and easy to use, a little bigger than I expected but not overly large. It was easy to set up and comes with 2 blades, I also found a spare cutting mat under the base. With a sturdy handle and sharp blade cutting was easy, and at 90 degrees un like some cheaper cutters that let the blade drift. A well performing, high quality well thought out craft cutter. Review: will do the job - It looks like this will work well for soft materials such as matchsticks. Come with a spare blade and cutting mat. Its made from plastic materials, but this is of a decent thickness and it should give many years of use. It lacks a depth stop, but no matter a piece of masking tape along the edge of the angle plate will do the job to mark off the distance. Good Clean cuts on a few trial matchsticks All in all a good product and at a good price. Sadly, I cannot say the same for the Courier company used to ship this. Despite being told that it was to be delivered to a factory unit that is closed over the weekend it was finally delivered on third attempt through a fence on Saturday (dumped would be more apt description) Not at the correct address, but had it been it would have been closer to the footpath and no doubt lost. ## Features - Base measures 210mm x 210mm - Cutting Length 50mm - Manufactured by us here in leicestershire ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00BXFQISY | | Base Material | Plastic | | Base material | Plastic | | Best Sellers Rank | 74,235 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) 61 in Model Building Tools | | Brand | Proops | | Colour | Red | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 213 Reviews | | Cutting Depth | 50 Millimeters | | Cutting Width | 50 Millimeters | | Included Components | Blade | | Manufacturer | Proops | | Material | Plastic | | Model Number | C6035 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power source | manual | | Style | Classic | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Proops - **Colour:** Red - **Material:** Plastic - **Power source:** manual - **Style:** Classic ## Images ![Multi Angle Craft & Hobby Guillotine. I've only used mine for cutting paper and card so I'm not sure. 20 thou sounds pretty thin so it might well do the job. At this price it's worth taking a punt because I'm sure it will come in useful for other tasks as well. Trevor **Q: Would this cut lolly sticks** A: No, I don't think so. My handle broke trying to cut plastic about the same thickness. **Q: Is this sharp enough to cut fabric?** A: This product is intended to cut balsa wood, I would not like to speculate on its ability to cut fabric. **Q: Can this cut through popsicle sticks?** A: It's Basically a razer blade on a plastic arm. I'd say it would cut through coffee stirrers and cheap lolly sticks, but I'd be careful with tongue depressors or premium lolly sticks. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy craft cutter *by H***. on 4 October 2023* A sturdy cutter for many materials easy to set up and easy to use, a little bigger than I expected but not overly large. I required it to cut 1mm thick wooden planking for my model boat. It was so easy to use, and it will make cutting the planking so much easier. A brilliant item for the price. ## Frequently Bought Together - Proops Multi Angle Craft & Hobby Guillotine. (C6035) Free UK Postage - Proops Guillotine Blades, Pack of 4.
