After 15 months this battery won't take a charge.
I bought this 15 months ago. The battery has been ok but did need charging quite often even though the Echo Dot was only used for 1 hour each morning. Today it stopped working (it won't charge at all), I've tried different cables but completely died so having to buy a new one (but a different model). I thought it would last longer so I'm very disappointed.

Good Idea and works great
Works great but is now defunct. Having discovered the Ultimate Alexa App I loaded that on to an old smartphone I had kept and left that upstairs, therefore I now have no reason to move my echo dot upstairs at night. The battery itself is great and worked a treat (I'm keeping it connected to my dot in case I ever need to move it temporarily.

Works but????
The first one I bought stopped charging after 2 months, however the seller was great and replaced it immediately.g Echo Dot port this second one has after one year also stopped charging even though I am always most careful of the delicate usb ports.it would seem that the charging usb port is not very reliable.

Easy to use, connect and listen
This small speaker does a very big job. Easy to connect to the Echo Dot and the sound is of reasonable quality. All round good performance.

Echo dot is now more portable.
I listen to the radio on the Echo Dot this allows me to move the Echo around without having to find a socket to power it.
