**Q: Is this sterile?**
A: This product is sold in a sealed container, however, it is not labeled as a sterile product.

**Q: What are the active ingredients?**
A: Ferrous Sulfate 7h20 - 84.0%/ Ammonium Alum 5.0% Chlorox

**Q: How long is it good for**
A: I can't say how long it is good for but I have some that is about 3 years old and it still works. Now I keep it in the barn where there is a lot of mosture so it does clump up but I just shake it up good. FYI, I did put some on a cut on my hand and it did stop the bleeding but it burned like crazy.

**Q: Sirve para detener el sangrado en las uñas de los perros y los gatos ??**
A: I bought it ... It arrived in the stipulated time. It is not a good product. It didn't work for me like others have. It does not stop bleeding effectively. Maybe the build batch of the product I received had problems ... I won't know that until I can test a new unit.

When you have a lot of critters, keeping this in stock is a must. Especially if you have birds who sometimes break feathers that bleed and bleed and bleed. It could be very dangerous and life threatening for the birds. It is also great to have on hand for stopping blood from pets that might accidentally get caught on something and pull out a toenail, or for stopping blood when you've accidentally cut too much while trimming nails on birds, cats and dogs. This works fast to stop the flow of blood and helps seal the wound. This is a large bottle which is much cheaper than buying it by the small bottle, and it will last a good long time.
