It fits thin-wall PVC drain pipe well. I use a bit of caulking and run screws through the pipe and flange to make sure it doesn't come apart. **Q: using 26 gauge metal ducting will this fit well?** A: I used exactly two layers of duct tape for a snug fit on 26 gauge duct fittings, and then used a 5-7" duct clamp. 1 layer is not enough and 3 gets squished off during the connection. **Q: What is heat rating?** A: It’s not rated for heat it’s a blast gate for a vacuum ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A well-constructed blast gate. *by P***Y on December 24, 2023* This is a well-constructed, 6" blast gate. A lot *by P***Z on January 20, 2023* Reasonably heavy duty. Lots of air leak when in closed position at the slide. Had to put pieces of take to take the gap.
