This is a very lightweight daypack for outing and hiking.It’s big enough to carry the essential items. The big compartment is very roomy and can easy hold a light jacket, umbrella, sunblock, portable fan, battery bank etc. There is a small pocket in the big compartment, but there is no zipper for that pocket. On the outside, there is a zipper pocket for storing wallet, keychain etc – items that I need to have quick access. There are also two side pockets for water bottles. I noticed that when the bag is very empty, the water bottle in the inside pocket could flip out, because the fabric of this bag is very soft, but when the bag is full, then the bottle would stay securely in the pocket :-)This daypack can also be folded up into a small bag when not in use – very convenient for storage.This backpack is sturdy, with good zippers. It appears to be durable and it’s so lightweight that it’s perfect for me to use on my weekend hiking trips.
