## Overview

Mor-Flexx Textured Caulk is a high-performance, beige-colored sealant designed for masonry repairs. It fills gaps up to 3 inches with a paintable, sandy texture that mimics mortar. Engineered for extreme elasticity, it withstands temperature swings from -30°F to 250°F without cracking. Ideal for brick, stone, stucco, and concrete, it offers waterproof protection and easy soap-and-water cleanup, curing fully in 24 hours to deliver a durable, long-lasting seal.

## Description

Product Description Use on brick, stone, stucco, concrete and other masonry surfaces, even when sealing against wood. Repairs interior and exterior cracks and gaps. Extreme elasticity to handle movement. Looks like Mortar but stretches like rubber. Will span up to a 3" gap, paintable sandy texture to blend in. Cleans up with soap and water. Surface application range of 40 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Service range from minus 30 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. From the Manufacturer Have you tried other mortar, stucco and grout repair products that cracked again because they dried hard and brittle? Mor-Flexx is different - it stretches and 'flexes' with temperature change and movement yet still has the sandy texture and color of mortar. You'll get a stretchy seal that lasts for years. Mor-Flexx should not be used on concrete less than 6 months old; the concrete is not fully cured.

Review: Near perfect color match and easy to small cracks in brick mortar - The previous owner of my house painted the brick a beige/tan color. As with any older home there were several masonry cracks I discovered that needed to be patched. I really wanted to avoid touching up paint and found this stuff to be a near match to my brick. It goes on very easy. Like most caulks, go ahead and use the whole tube. It won't keep well. Other than that it seems to be a good product. It went on easy and was dry within 36 hours. I haven't had a hard rain yet, but I don't see why it won't hold up.
Review: Good option to repair small cracks and prevent water intrusion in stucco - The proper way to fix stucco cracks is to grind the crack and possibly drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it from spreading, then patch the crack with stucco and re-texture. Wait a day for it to dry, then seal it, prime it and paint to match. If you don't have the expertise or the money to pay a pro to do all of this, then this textured caulk is a great alternative, especially if your stucco happens to be a close color match. To use this, brush clean the crack (remove any mildew or algae if present and let dry). Then just snip the tip of the tube, poke the inside seal with the pin on your caulking gun and apply a small bead along the crack. Work it into the crack with your finger and ensure there are no gaps. As it starts to dry, brush off (with a brush or your hand) any loose bits or over smear and let it dry. You can paint over it if needed but in my case it's a good color match so I didn't have to. It almost disappears when dry and even where it it somewhat noticeable, it still looks better than a crack. In closing, this is not a perfect, professional repair, but it is an inexpensive alternative to stop water from getting inside and rusting the metal mesh that holds your stucco on. Neglecting a crack in stucco will eventually lead to the mesh rusting, expanding and pushing chunks of your stucco off, leading to costly repairs and potential wood rot if you have a wood home. A good enough fix now is better than a perfect, expensive fix a month or a year from now. Tip, if the crack seems to be spreading, drill a small hole at each end of it and then fill the hole with this caulk. The hole will stop the crack from growing further, just be sure there is nothing important in the wall where you're drilling. A power outlet or water fixture (inside or outside) in the area could mean potential danger. You should not need to drill more than 1/4-1/2" into the wall as you're only needing to disrupt the surface crack, so just be careful not to go too deep and you'll be fine as fixtures are usually at least 1" inside (usually!). If unsure, don't drill and just keep an eye on it and re-seal if the crack spreads. The goal is to simply prevent water intrusion, with aesthetics a close second. Good luck!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will ants eat through this product used outside patching brick grout?**
A: Mor-Flexx is made to seal out moisture and insects. The only way ants could get through is if the Mor-Flexx either cracked in the center or pulled away at the sides of the joint.

For more information, please contact our product specialists via email at csteam@sashco.com or call 1-800-767-5656.

**Q: Seriously whats with all the ice maker reviews. I passed on this product bc of the low rating and purchased a different one. Is this a bone color**
A: Thank you for taking the time to get in touch with us. There are reviews for a different product posted under our product and we have contacted Amazon to have them removed. I am sorry that you were discouraged from purchasing the Mor-Flexx Beige because of the low rating, but I understand why you made that choice - I make similar decisions.

The Beige is a bone-like color. If you would like, we would be happy to send you a complimentary tube. Just email us at csteam@sashco.com and reference this exchange. We hope you'll give it a try and let us know what you think! And thanks again for the heads up about the incorrect reviews.

**Q: Can I use this product outside on my pool deck**
A: Mor Flexx is a terrific product, but it does not hold up well under foot traffic. We make a similar product called Slab that would work very well on your pool deck and stands up well to foot traffic.

**Q: How long does it take to fully cure for outdoor use?**
A: Mor-Flexx typically cures within 4-5 days depending on the joint size, temperature and humidity. For more detailed information, check out our website at http://www.sashco.com/products/mor-flexx/ or contact our customer service and technical support team at 1-800-767-5656.
