It takes a lot of effort to push up the sink with all the plumbing and accessories attached, especially while laying on your back under the sink and trying to screw something to the cabinet wall at the same time. Trying to multitask this situation is difficult at best but with TNF, these tasks are simplified with no aggravation. The installation is a breeze, just insert the double-headed sink bracket into the flange of the sink. Then, peel the double-sided adhesive tape from the back of the wall bracket and press it against the cabinet wall. The temporary adhesive allows for hands-free operation to install the four screws that are provided. Simply turn the shaft of the turnbuckle until the sink raises and makes contact with the countertop. Next, tighten the lock nut and you’re done! Our home is 12 years old and the sink has been dropping in front for some time now. We tried tightening the existing clips but it didn't last, which brought me to research solutions when I found these. Before fixing it, there was a 3/8-1/2 inch gap in the front of the sink, for reference. I'm not sure of the limits of the brackets, but they were able to close our gap. Our sink was mounted with 4 clips held up with screws that are placed in slots milled into the underside of the granite countertop, and a glue/sealer between the sink and granite. This may have been adequate if not for a garbage disposal and the fact that the cabinet has a little hinged utility drawer in front of the sink making it impossible to support it in that entire area. That noted, we couldn't use the center mount that was included with this kit either, but the two side supports seem to be doing a great job by themselves. These parts are very sturdy and made well, IMHO. I was impressed with the weight and heft when I unpacked them. There is "peel and stick" glue-tape on the mounting brackets to hold them to the cabinet wall after you place them and before you screw them in, which is a huge help in installation. It's still a task with many frustrations, mainly from lack of accessibility under a sink with existing pipes and a garbage disposal, but we managed to mount them and tighten everything together after the caulk/sealer was applied. Hooray! It looks like a successful project completed! Fortunately, our double sink was a tight fit in the cabinet and the walls were close to the edges so the angle for mounting these was pretty ideal. We were able to fit the braces between the original clips and tighten them up as well so, hopefully, the combination will be adequate to support the weight even without the front sink support. There are other options that I've seen in my research, if needed, that could be added, like a brace under the disposal or sink basins. I will update my review if there are any changes or failures with this kit. I would strongly recommend it at this point and, if you're a DIY-type person, that you would be able to install it yourself. Otherwise, I'd advise a handyman's assistance. 5 stars at this point! Would there be any issue with their depth if a dishwasher is immediately** A: Since we already used the screws to secure the brackets, I do not have exact length, but-there was no issue with our dishwasher. We did a small pilot hole with a drill bit. It was an easy system. Our granite installer was impressed when he came back to fix another issue in a bathroom. They cannot fail, even Cinclips work just fine. I just dislike how some people talk bad about other products when they themselves failed miserably at an attempt to copy some of the original products. Bottom line is pick one product. Most all sinks are Stainless steel and are very lite. Thus easy to install. The turnbuckle design allows for tightening after the brackets are in place in order to raise the sink up after the new caulk is in place. No helpers needed this is an easy one person job. Also the slim design means cabinet space is not really impacted by these being in place. I was able to leave my cabinet (sounding organizer etc) entirely as it was with no adjusting needed. Was really good to have a well designed solution and made the job so much more easy to complete.
